Eye health and screen time are two concepts that are innately linked to one another.  Our reliance on digital devices is at an all-time high. Digital eye strain affects over 50% of people who spend several hours a day in front of a screen [1]. Without properly regulating your time spent in front of these devices, strained eyes could be the least of your worries.

Too much blue light exposure can cause significant damage to the retina, causing headaches and difficulty focusing. Though the long-term effects of overexposure are unknown, it is better to be safe in the interest of the health of your eyes [2].

In that spirit, moderation is the biggest key to maintaining good eye health. Take frequent breaks during your time in front of the screen. Practice the 20-20-20 rule to ensure your eyes are rested. Make sure you’re always at least an arm’s length away from your screen. If your livelihood requires you to spend an excessive amount of time in front of the screen, consider a multi-formula supplement such as Eye Candy.
